Once we decided that PACENET was the ideal paperless solution for our department, the implementation process was swift and straightforward; the support team was always there for us whenever we had any questions. It is the perfect solution for managing our implanted cardiac devices, and it\u2019s effortless to use. Not only has PACENET significantly increased the quality of workflow in the hospital, but it saves us so much time during our working days. With PACENET, hospitals no longer need to assign a physiologist to do NICOR entries for 3 hours every day; the database automatically uploads to NICOR in minutes, giving our staff more time to spend helping their patients.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Not only has PACENET significantly increased the quality of workflow in the hospital, but it saves us so much time during our working days.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">Reacting to advisories without the support of PACENET was extremely difficult in the past. In the event of a device manufacturer alerting us to an MDA, which happens about 3 or 4 times each year, we used to assign at least one staff member to locate any patients that may be affected. This search would have taken the physiologist at least two full days to complete, and this method always carries an element of risk that some patients could be overlooked along the way. We weren\u2019t able to determine how many devices with MDAs were being missed, and sometimes, we weren\u2019t able to find a device as it could have been discarded or used as a temporary permanent.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Body\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\">Thankfully now, with PACENET, we can be confident that we will never miss a single patient affected by an MDA. When a manufacturer sends us an advisory, we can locate all of our affected patients, tag them and track compliance with the clinician\u2019s management plan.
